Area: North Hebron villages
Made of cotton and polyester, the thobe is embroidered in red-brownish silk threads with some additional colours. The embroidery is done in different geometrical shapes, of which the most common is the triangular shape that can be seen on the chest and the sides of the thobe.
As for the back area, the embroidery is done in a horizontal band that is more than 30 cm high, which is a Bedouin influence that can also be seen in Beer Al-Sabe’ thobe. A piece of cotton fabric is also added on the front of the thobe, slightly embroidered in similar patterns and is surrounded by small triangular shapes called ‘tashareef’ in a different colour.
