Jericho Thobe

Area: Jericho and neighboring villages

Made of cotton and polyester, this dress is very long and could reach up to 4 meters in length. It is embroidered in small floral patterns on the chest area, the lower back area called ‘Al-Shinyar’, in addition to the sides of the dress which can be seen more clearly when the thobe is folded multiple times. The sleeves are wide and are called ‘Al-Radan’.

The belt is black and is used to secure the thobe when folded

The shawl is off-white in color, decorated with a piece of fabric that is embroidered in the same patterns found on the thobe
