Made of black polyester, the stitching on this thobe is done using multiple types of stitches including a stitch called “Al-Hashi”, “Al-Madd” stitch and the cross stitch using colorful threads in different shades such as red, green, white and indigo blue.
The embroidery on this thobe covers a wide area of the open Jalaya which can be closed using buttons or metal hooks. The outfit includes pants that are worn underneath Al-Jalaya with embroidery at the lower end so it can be visible from underneath the thobe.
The belt is embroidered using Al-Manajel stitch adding more character and beauty to the outfit. The patterns on the belt are the same as the ones on the Jalaya
The Shawl is off-white embroidered in the same patterns as the outfit
