Area: Al-Majdal
Made of black polyester and cotton fabric that has purple stripes on the sides of it (called Al-Majdalawi). This thobe is adorned using colorful polyester fabric with a silky touch. The stitches used in the embroidery of this dress are called “Al-Tahriri”, “Al-Tehshaya” and “Al-Laf”, covering the chest panel, sides, frontal area, sleeves and the lower back hem.
Embroidery is mostly done on colorful polyester fabric using silk and “Tahriri” threads in colorful floral patterns. The back and front shoulders are also embroidered using “Tahriri” threads.
The belt is made of striped cashmere fabric
The shawl is off-white adorned with a piece of cashmere
